About the Founder
With over two decades of experience in early childhood care, Jyoti Kumar brings a unique blend of Indian roots and international insight to Twinkling Star.
Her career began in 2002 as a nursery teacher and evolved through her active role in the Air Force Welfare Association (AFWA). While living in Australia, she earned the Certificate III in Children’s Services, a mandatory and a highly recognized qualification for childcare professionals there.
During her time in Sydney, Jyoti worked extensively across leading childcare centers, honing her approach to play-based learning, emotional intelligence, and parental involvement.
In 2014, she returned to India and founded Twinkling Star with a bold vision:
To raise the standard of preschool and daycare education in Noida—with love, structure, and transparency at its heart.
Under her leadership, Twinkling Star continues to nurture children who are confident, curious, and kind—one bright little star at a time.
